With Café Colmado's core branding already in place at the start of this collaboration, our focus from the outset was clear: refresh the cafe's exterior using classic city signage elements, construction, and aesthetics. We wanted to make a strong impression on NY natives and  visitors alike while upholding Colmado's established art/visuals. (Gallery above provides before + after photos) 

The various phrases that underline the main dimensional lettering/logo were processed and incorporated to match  originals hand-painted along the central mirror that spans the  inside of the cafe.
